i forgot what show it was that i went to when self opened... but it was one of those shows where the opening band impressed me more than the headliner. i definitely became a fan after that.

i remember there was a discussion about self back on the cmj bb... i know there were a few other fans as well, forget who...

That was me at the Cracker show... paying Cracker prices to see a band that nobody else knew, then leaving during the third Cracker song.
