despite liking wet hot american summer, i really hate whatever form of comedy 'the state' performs. i've tried multiple times to 'get it'. it's really 'matter-of-fact' boring mediocre stuff compared with most other well-written and well-acted comedy I enjoy. i just keep watching, waiting for something funny to happen. blue balls every time.

Suggestions for some gem I'm missing out on?
