How is it that not much worth noting is being released in the last two months of 2005?
No-one hardly ever releases anything that might get missed in year-end lists, because year-end lists are usually made in September. So they wait until January or February.

tell me about these.

where's your list?

i'll have to borrow some words i'm never very good at this

the black angels.sniper at the gates of dawn ep: "Electrified Native American Drone 'n' Roll.. The Black Angels' psychedelically induced rock n' roll evokes the spirit of the 1960's while awakening the heavy droning rhythms inspired by The Velvet Underground. Picture a red moonlit night, deep in the heart of Texas, with the ghosts of Nico and Timothy Leary being called back from the dead to guide you on a journey through Heaven & Hell and back again"

wintersleep.untitled: ...progressive..folk..metal? i don't know you'd have to hear it.. http://www.newmusiccanada.com/genres/ar ... d_Id=10623

this is your captain speaking.storyboard: "moves from minimal ambience and intertwining melodies to soaring sonic reverberations, moments of country & western and psychedelia." i don't listen to a great deal of instrumental music but i've grown pretty attached to this album over the past few weeks.

rohner segnitz.the longhouse: this is solo stuff from the singer in division day, a pop/rock band out of california. he has an incredibly soothing, almost velvet-like voice, but again i'm at a loss when trying to describe his 'sound'. while it is nothing groundbreaking, i can't honestly think of anything similar.

Yeah, I hear ya - I'm disappointed in that list myself. I'm hoping Ike Reilly and MMJ help spark the last part of this year for me, because so far there hasn't been much to get me excited.

You should have Babyshambles, Paddingtons, plus an almost complete mix in your hands any day now. I sent that package out almost two weeks ago. Of course the authorities may accompany the package to your crib re: The mongerousness of that Babyshambles rekkid.

Radcliffe's no.1 will be Edgar 'Jones' Jones. He just doesn't know that yet.
