I haven't seen this anywhere on here yet, so....

per Rolling Stone:

Booker T. Jones is prepping his first solo record in 20 years. The all-instrumental release features the Drive-By Truckers as his backing band and Neil Young on lead guitar. The disc is due next spring.

Sounds good to me!

Yep, Blind Pig.
lotsa good ethnic eats downtown and plenty of small-medium sized pubs to grab some suds sans music if that's at all in your plans.

Wazoo Records is good for music. State Theater for niche/indie movies.

All this stuff is walkable in downtown, though from what I hear it's cold as fuck right now.

A2 is an easy town to have fun in.

Is it going to be an all instrumental guitar wank off? or are there going to be actual songs?

Thanks for the info. I was planning on arriving early to check out some of the "culture", but apparently it's supposed to snow.

looks to me like a pureed cumquat brulee with a reduced cumsomme. If I recall correctly, the French eloquently refer to it as a "cum dumpster".

I have found myself at a Hometown Buffet. Yeah, yeah, I know...why? I was feeling a bit reminiscent cuz my mom loved to eat here. And I was hoping that just maybe things had changed. Nope, the place still has crappy food and harbors mouth-breathers.

At least the Caesar Salad and Diet Coke were good.

Whoever it is that keeps on using enough toilet paper to plug a commercial grade toilet, they deserve to have their dick ripped off.

I had some dill pickle soup at this Polish joint downtown. I had no real idea what to expect, but it was pretty damn good.

I have been humming "Goldfinger" in my head all week - but replacing the words with "Cuuuuuuuuum Dump-Steeerrrr"

FYI, Ann Arbor Brewing Co. is a good place to be...

I really wasn't sure what to expect. I can't think of any way to describe it that doesn't sound like it came from that Natural Harvest cookbook, but here goes anyway. It's slightly salty and brothy, but has a light creaminess to it (sigh). Very thin strings of pickle in the broth. It's a good combination of salty & tart.

I had no composure to eat at a decent restaurant...by myself.
But I did stop at another microbrewery, Grizzly's.
Decent pizza, but their beer was nowhere as good as the AA Brewing Co.

I just found one of these inside my house:

[img][650:433]http://arnica.csustan.edu/photos/animals/Potato_bug_3.jpg[/img]

While it's not venemous, it's ugly as fuck and supposedly can give a nasty bite. What I wanna know is how in the hell did it get in?!

Trembling, I scooped him using two sales catalogs, threw him in a plastic bag and tied that fucker tight. He's now resting inside the garbage can outside. Though, I think it was a she...it had a white sac attached to its bottom.

*shudder*
