The hair is an extension of the uniform. He cuts the hair, he doesn't get tackled. There was also a pretty good horse collar on Dalton that they got away with. He might be gone by the time they draft. Luck, Barkley, Griffin could well be this year's Manning, Rivers, Roethlisberger or Young, Leinart, Cutler. (By draft position, not necessarily success in the League -- or lack thereof.)

(But, speaking of success in the League, where were the people to make the Tebovian argument "he just knows how to win" when VY was battling Jeff Fisher in Tennessee? Isn't VY's career record 31-17, which is better even than previous "not so talented, but he just wins QB", Kyle Orton (career mark: 33-33)?)

Is it possible for a player like Andrew Luck (random example) to not make himself eligible for the draft and then become a walk-on for any team he wants?

Edit: I realize it would not be in his best financial interest since he loses the competitive bid market and signing bonuses, etc, but there could be some non-written agreement/ incentives that a team could offer, no?
