I'm pretty sure I've said this before (I also remember having this conversation with a cabbie in NO a few years ago), but the only acceptable name for the New Orleans basketball team is the JAZZ. Utah can be the Magic Underpants or the Tabernacle Choirs or whatever.

And I'm with harry: LeBron was awesome last night. Dude who works for me brought up a great point the other day: "Can you imagine how much it would suck to guard LeBron?" We decided that the only comparable would be guarding Shaq in his prime. Dudes so physical they just wear your ass out.

LeBron James responded to all of the haters and bullshit media last night in style.

This pretty much sums it up.

Please. If he loses Game 7 nobody will remember what happened last night.

Phenomenal performance though.

Actually, anyone who's even a casual NBA fan comment. Well, outside of the Miami area maybe.

Balance and common sense:

Last night's performance by James was one of the best by any player in the NBA this season...

If the Heat don't win the championship (the NBA championship... the East should be a given) then this season will be another failure for them.... OKC in 6 games, and look for the Heat to lose that Cuban Pat Riley coach.

I can't disagree with this. I'm pretty confident they'll get past Boston, but the OKC battle is going to be brutal.

Best thing is watching Mr. Stephen A. Smith flip-flop through this whole series and literally talk ALL DAY on ESPN yesterday about how the Heat were finished. What a douche.

I'm not disputing he had a great game but you're starting to sound like thrillhouse talking about Tom Brady.

I so agree! I wish we could somehow get the Jazz name back, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

I loves me some Gronk but I do not expect him to have a long career.

I thought it was a great game. In the end, the C's didn't have the legs and the Heat went nuts in the 4th.

If I'm a Celtics fan I'm pretty stoked though: your team is old as hell but the second best player on the floor in this series plays for you and he's only 26. Things could be worse. You could have Joe Johnson.

Yeah, though I still disagree with a couple of calls, the C's just lost it at the end and the Heat took advantage of that.

It'll be interesting to see who's on the team next year. I assume at least one of the big three will be back. Rondo is amazing. Bradley should be back to full strength. I'm hoping Jeff Green comes back though his heart ailment worries me ala Reggie Lewis. Maybe we can sign someone decent as well.

This its gong to be a great Finals though.
