hey, I got it done ever everyone else that expressed a mild if any desire to change their shit.

I'm like the Rosa Parks of bulletin board status, if after they let everyone else sit where they wanted, she was shot out of the back of the bus with a fire hose.

Everyone should see Bonde Do Role. Take a look at their myspace page for tour dates. Seattle, FL, and CA residents, there's no reason for you not to see them. Unless you hate Brazilians. Then move along.

I think comparing myself to Rosa Parks qualifies nicely enough as a rant for now, don't you?

for now, that is. I have not yet begun to complain.

Mid length, black or navy blue.

(Khaki looks too much like what the Brits would call a "Mac" or raincoat. I guess you could go with one of those, but I dunno if it would provide the warmth you want. Though, a khaki Burberry one would be TEH HOTT)

whaddya think, Senator?

in black of course

I like that it has the zip-out lining. I think I could rock this.

Mission accomplished. Got this exact coat for super cheap yesterday, in black. I wore it to work today and I felt so... undercover, sexy and spy-like.

one of their dudes wouldn't let anyone onstage, even when the girl asked two guys up to dance.

yeah their manager dude was trying to decide who went up onstage. it was funny because the club i saw them in used to have nothing but jam bands and i don't think they're used to the heavy bass and dancing.

I went from getting 3-4 hours of sleep per night (Friday and Saturday) to 8+ hours of sleep per night (Sunday and Monday) and now I can't tell if I'm awake or asleep. I dreamed of work last night and when I got here, was disappointed that I didn't complete the projects I thought I'd completed. Help.

something jogged my memory the other day about a pirate radio station that used to be broadcast out of one of the dorms when I was at Georgia Tech. For kicks, I googled and found a friggin video of the place. The radio station was broadcast out of Techwood Dorm on Georgia Tech campus (the dorm no longer exists, was torn down for the 96 Olympics and huge high-rise dorms are now there-- for you ATL folks this was on the south side of North Avenue, just west of 75/85). Interesting to see an old copy of WREKology in the vid though (I dj'd at WREK, the legit campus radio station). And I think one of my roommates was good friends with Strick, the guy who filmed this. I dunno... it's not that interesting, but it just reminds me of my college days, and these were the kinds of people that surrounded me-- nerdy guys who'd put shit together for kicks.

even odder, I found a video of an old Tom Brokaw news segment on WREK...

hahaha

That wasn't the only time Mariah Carey was met with mocking that night. A Gawker.com operative says she also faced a tough crowd at the Waverly Inn, where she struck a pose for conveniently stationed paparazzi before entering.

Seems her composure "faltered" at one point when a fellow diner yelled out, "We love and support you Britney," sending the hot spot's patrons into twitters.

When someone pointed out the diva in question wasn't Spears, the yukster shot back, "Oh, sorry Lindsay, good luck with your demons."

That's fucking great. We should go into the business of openly clowning celebrities in public.

I bet if you watched the three of them mentioned for a week that Mariah would look like Caligula and the other two like Julie Andrews in the sound of music.

"She'll let ya video tape her..."

There just might not be anything better than bringing in Trader Joe's sushi for lunch.
