I'll take it though

The way the Bears offense played yesterday, they would have lost by 24 instead of winning by that margin, if had played an actual NFL team.

Yeah, so that sucked donkey dick.

I'll admit that I didn't really think we'd win going into the game but after our defense showed that they came ready to play and kept us in it I fucking wanted that game. Our D held the Saints to 7 points in the 2nd half which is something to build on for sure.

Alas, this game was lost by Matt Ryan, Jason Elam, and a phantom holding call on the Saints' only scoring drive in the 2nd half to go up 11.

I can't wait for when they come to Atlanta. I'm going to try and go and pack several bags of urine.

I'm done with the state of Louisiana this year.

I'm even going to be pulling for Bama this weekend against LSU despite every fiber of my being telling me not to.

I'm technically legally obligated to root for Bammer.

no need to even fool with reverse psych for next week, as the pack are obviously in free fall as evidenced by their beatdown at the hands of the suckaneers today

Pathetic display by the Packers. Penalties, Special Teams, and Offensive Line all continue to be the glaring problems.

Uglier than even the final score would indicate.

Yeah the Bears do more wrong than they do right. Sad to watch, really, as the league is better when the bears are good.

Huh? I could see maybe saying that about the Steelers or the Cowboys but the Bears? Does not compute.

considering we started three ROOKIES in the secondary versus the almighty brady, i think we did ok. we'll get a WR that can catch one of these days.

It was the kind of gritty road win the Cowboys could never have pulled off last year. So, all due respect for that. However, that was a shitty, weird game with crap officiating on both sides. The only useful information I got from watching that game is that the Cowboys D is better than I thought, and that even at this stage in their careers McNabb is going to have the occasional game where he throws 4-5 passes into the dirt 10 yards in front of his receiver AS HARD AS HE POSSIBLY CAN and Reid will still completely fuck up clock management if given the chance. It was a game where nothing happened 75% of the time.

I still predict the Eagles get farther in the playoffs than the Boys if they can get reasonably healthy.

I actually don't find anything special about the steelers but the bears are up there with the Giants and Niners for me as teams that are emblematic of the NFL and coincidentally were good when I was a kid.

reid definitely deserves the majority of blame for the eagles losing last night

those two teams are VERY evenly matched, and you very well could be right about the playoffs

the refs were absolutely senile, pointing the wrong way half the time
