You know, silverchair pulled a nada surf. Just after people stopped paying attention and had forgotten about them, they learned how to write a well crafted pop rock song, like they found their parents old beatles lps.

I was surprised too.

J. Geils Band is awesome, Matt. I saw them live in '99 (well, most of the show... got kicked out about 3/4 of the way through) and was really surprised at how good they actually were. Not a lot of people followed them before or after "Freeze Frame" and "Centerfold". It's a shame.

You're talking about Peter Wolf? I don't know that he's had any true solo success (like, success meaning millions of albums sold, arena tours, etc.), but live, he's an animal, and if you ever listen to Sleepless, you might have a different opinion of him. I have it at home, I'll upload it sometime.

Peter Wolf had a ton of success with his first solo album, which included the song "Lights Out".

Yeah, I was 8 when Freeze Frame came out and it was easily my favorite record of 1982. I wore that fucking album thin listening to it. It's a thoroughly ridiculous but well-crafted fusion album in hindsight. Songs like "Insane, Insane Again" are really off the wall.

My parents had Bloodshot on vinyl but I couldn't really get into it when I was a kid. I am enjoying the shit out of this live album though.

Are they back together permanently?

I used to have a 45 of J Geils Band that was shaped like a potato...got it when I bought a Police record shaped like a badge...don't know what heppened to either of them...and can't really even remember what songs were on them...if anyone remembers, I'd be curious.

Still have a copy of Love Stinks though.

I don't thinkt they've toured or recorded together since the early '00s. I could be wrong, though.

Didn't Peter Wolf also do "Come As You Are (Or Don't Come At All)," or was that someone else? I know I could just Google it, but I have TEH LAZEE.

Oh, yeah...and he was once married to FAYE DUNAWAY. I'll never be able to make sense of that union.

You should see him live. I saw him in a 400 person venue and he ran through the crowd like a maniac for a song or two. When I saw him at a bar (probably 200 person capacity), he jumped into the audience (I don't dare say "crowd") and sang a song or two while standing with some girl.

Yeah, and the Faye Dunaway thing I'll never understand. How did they even meet?!

Hello everyone. It is I, Terra... the "real Melissa" and I am pretty much freaked out. However, it was kinda funny too. I just think some people have too much time on their hands. Anyway, this seems like a pretty cool place so I think I'll stick around.

Catswilleatyou, grab your sidekick Scoob and sniff this one out. Just who is the Triple P?

Time to get those pesky kids to investigate.

LOL. Triple P is the real girl in the pics, believe it if you will. Whoever said that I would join up was right, here I am, and I'm staying! The controversy over my pics and whatnot was just too good not to get in on.

No hard feelings. I never did get your apology on MySpace though... good thing I came here and read it or it would really be awkward.
