Goin' to see DBT again first weekend of October. The Henry Clay People are opening, anybody got the lowdown on them? Worth listening to before the show?

Yes, I like them very much. One of my favorite bands going right now. Not sure how they are live though. There's a link to their new album some where in the 2010 thread.

Boom! And another career down the shitter.

US Airways pilot pleads guilty to upskirt photo

An airline pilot who used his cell phone to take photos up a teenager's skirt at Philadelphia International Airport has pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy.

US Airways pilot Joseph Pereira was sentenced Tuesday in Philadelphia Family Court to one year of probation. He will be evaluated for a sex offender treatment program.

Authorities say Pereira used his cell phone to take photos under the skirt of a 15-year-old girl on June 24.

US Airways spokesman Morgan Durrant says the 55-year-old pilot from Wexford, Pa., is suspended.

Pereira earlier resigned as a girls softball coach at North Allegheny High School, near Pittsburgh. School officials said there have been no other complaints about Pereira in 13 years of coaching.

I'm not really that sold on the new album yet but I really like their last one. I've seen them twice though -- once as an opener to the DBT's and once as the headliner. Both times, they were pretty mehriffic. We left their headliner show after about 20 minutes.

I can't really say anything too positive about their live act but they do have some good songs on record. I'd still show up early for their set if they were an opener on a show I was going to and hope that either I had bad luck or that they are improving with more touring. I don't think I'd go see them on their own again though. I just wasn't impressed at all.

I can totally buy them being a shitty live band. Doesn't surprise me at all. Glossary was the same way when I saw them open for the Truckers and I like their records, too.

Well, its kinda hard to keep putting out books in that genre when you're now routinely outsold by Amish romance novels in the Christian book section. Seriously, people eat these up.
