My Seahawks would make a great landing spot for him and reports are that the team has expressed that they would open up Paul Allen's sizable wallet in order to make it happen. I'm in full support of this as we were really only a decent quarterback away last year from a playoff run.

He lives in Florida during the offseason - he'd actually been in Florida before flying to Indianapolis yesterday for the Press Conference. You can argue that his living there may give Miami a leg up in the negotiations, but him flying there yesterday doesn't mean anything - he was headed home.

all signs point to the dolphins

apparently, he has ruled out all nfc teams, so as not to cockblock eli and to (theoretically) keep the possibility of an all-manning super bowl in play

So the Redskins swapped 1st round slots with the Rams and gave up their First Round picks in 2013, 2014, and their 2nd round pick this year as well for RGIII.

Is it me or does that seem insane for a team that needs LOTS of players?

I've read the comparisons of how much the Giants gave up to get Eli and how that certainly worked out but to me, the big difference is the involvement of Dan Snyder.

Can't wait to watch him play but I just hope he's not going to a black hole.

The Rams ought to hire Jimmie Johnson as a consultant, because this is a Herschel Walker to The Vikings style comeuppance - and thos Cowboys teams of the early/mid-90s were built on picks that weren't even as high as these.

$20 says they blow it, though. And for the record, I like RGIII but I'm not sure they can build a team around him without the picks they're giving up.

Absolutely gave up too much. To use Wilbon's description of the Redskins with Snyder: dysfuntional. If I was RGIII, I wouldn't be very happy. Can we get him in a wedding gown to pose with Snyder for the cover of SI?

They gave up a crazy amount of picks for him, but it was needed. They have no QB options. They either did it for RGIII, or they go out and try to lure a FA QB like Flynn who may or may not want to come to DC. They've got a decent D and a decent core offense, with a few missing pieces. If I'm correct, they're still pretty well under the cap so they could go out and get a stud WR. It adds a ton of pressure to RGIII for sure. He has to perform almost immediately which isn't the most coveted position to be in as a rookie.

We'll see. Skins still have a lot of catch-up to play.

Just from a regional standpoint, people around here who are Skins fans are going crazy. They're loving this ride.

Doesnt seem like too much to give up if (big if) they win a SB--the old GM of the Giants has said the same of the Eli trade: sure we gave up a lot but in retrospect we would have given up more had we known we'd win two SB's.

Is RGIII going to be more Jake Plummer & Jay Cutler, each of whom took s team to a conference championship, or more Brian Griese & John Beck?

Apparently one playoff year was enough for Mario Williams.

I credit global warming for the signing of Williams. Your typical March day in WNY is not 65 degrees and sunny.

Not only does Peyton spurn E-Stone's boys in SoFla, but, now, E will have to deal with his Broncos fan neighbours revelling in The Decision II.

Oh, & the Broncos do get the Patriots this year.

In Foxbourough.

I imagine TAWMEE FROM QUINZEE will do his worst to make the Eagles fan taunting of Michael Irvin seem like child's play.

Really Goodell? Suspending Sean Payton for an entire year? Two second round draft choices? Blow me
