look, don't blame me for your crap taste in music.

It’s going to be their most successful album ever and they are finally going to get paid for all the great music they have done for over ten years now.

I just got this CD in the mail today and can't wait to sample it. If anyone's looking for a good price and can wait for it to ship, I got it through neihborhoodies.com for $10 and free shipping.

Give me a few days with this CD and I can tell you if it's good or not, ending this  debate between Dalen and Bee.

I wish they had a better selection, their prices along with the free (and fast) shipping are nice!

that was the first time i'd used them. are they new at selling cd's? did they just start carrying them? OPA?

i'll definitely be keeping them in mind when surfing for future purchases. they were a few bucks cheaper than even Insound.

There's a decent enough selection on there that I'll probably buy a few more albums from there. I'm trying to buy that The Boy Least Likely To album but of course as soon as I click on the Confirm Order button my browser fucks up.

They're a bunch of nice people from Brooklyn. The selection is fine but if you're looking for a particular CD, E-mail Lindsey and she can get it for you. She's really nice. They're also be getting a PayPal account some time next month so people who like to use that service can do so too.

I'm listening to a couple of mp3s downloaded from their website as I had yet to hear them.

First impression is that I immediately like what I hear, although I would agree that it isn't breaking new ground. I don't know when that became a fucking metric by which we should all be judging new music. Who constantly wants new ground. He kind of sounds a bit like David Byrne in 'Over and Over Again' but the other two songs I've heard, I don't know if I'd agree. I'd have to hear the whole album. I would say it does bookend with the Arcade Fire and Wolf Parade as well. I don't know what you're supposed to call this music anyway, but I've listened to these three songs 4 times in a row and I want to hear more. I'm also down with the Bloc Party too, top 10, possibly 5.

Not to restart something that is already finished, but with respect to criticizing Dalen for riffing on the new guy, energy, he had it fucking coming. Who cares if he's new? This was the Clap Your Hands APPRECIATION thread. His first comment had the words 'horrid, bored, offended' in it. Open season, mate.

I like 'em too, they're opening for the Arcade Fire this fall. Can't wait to see them both.

Indeed. A stop in Saskatoon, but no LA. Of course there would have to be about 7000 more shows here to even begin to balance the equation, but I guess we got lucky. Normally, bands seem to go from Winnipeg to Calgary.

I gave this a listen. I'm gonna have to say that I cannot , in good conscience, clap my hands and say yeah. It's not as bad as Fiery Furnaces or Britney Spears, but I don't think I'll be listening to this one again.
