I ain't tryin to take shots at 'im. Man gets it done. Every damn morning, up at like 5 or 6 to go running with the dog. Then off to work. In bed by like 9:30.

But yeah, he was fat.

No me neither, and I am quite impressed with his regimen these days. Not impressed to do the same myself, but impressed nonetheless

Not me. Such a regimen stinks of "giving up". (j/k; I had to live with miserable and out of shape Busty and we actually used to work out together during my brief "gym" phase.....That nigga can run. Jesus.)

I'm thin y'all and much to the chagrin of people like the Cap'n: I smoke, drink, eat rich food, yet am completely healthy according to my most recent (two weeks ago) physical.....

Bloor,
How tall and thin are you?
I am between 5'10-5"11" and currently weigh 138.
My girlfriend gets pissed that I eat a full medium Pizza Hut pizza by myself and order a Double Whopper from BK or four cheeseburgers from McDonalds.
I don't smoke, but as a French/Irishman, I drink a ton for my stature.

While probably lacking half the stamina I had in high school, I am still in wrestling shape.

I'm 6'2, about 175. I was like 155-160 all through college, ballooned up to about 190-95 right after that and have since slimmed up. I actually eat pretty good (lotsa fish and vegetables, minimal carbs, I drink more wine than beer, etc.)

Since I still smoke and have the tendacy to drink too much from time to time, I have made a conscious effort to eat better and I really, really do want to start working out more if for nothing more than cardio.

Looks like I'm right in the ideal weight category. I'm 6' or 6' 1" and I weigh just about 170, depending on the day.

Your avatar is the best.

Had you read "Serge Gainsbourg: A Fistful of Gitans"? I'm about half-way through. It reads like a good novel.

Damn I really need to read this

You're right. You got along way to go before you could dream of approaching chunky.

Unlike me. I've got a long way to go before i can dream of being not fat.

Huh... I'm a 25 year-old female, 5' tall, 120 lbs. Medically recommended range is 97-128. People's 'Ideal' is 108. I haven't weighed 108 since I was 17. And 97 lbs?? I'd look horrible. Actually I know this- I got really sick once and dropped down to about 95 lbs. I looked like a skeleton, and felt even worse. I'd be happy to lose about 5 lbs but really just want to be in shape.

Muscle weighs more than fat. So if you are a studmuffin you should weigh more than the "recommended" or "ideal". just sayin.

BTW this would explain the many posts complaining about what people would look like if they were "ideal". Or, at the very least I'm giving you folks a great way of rationalizing your fat asses!

Definitely what I've found. I'm in nowhere near the shape I was in a few years ago (tho I'm only nearly 21), but still quite fit compared to most ppl because I play a lot of sport. I apparently still weigh the same as I did thru my late high school years even tho I'm not as thin as I used to be, cos I've lost a lot of the muscle tone from when I did sprinting.

Pretty much means that the only way for me to lose weight is to run - even bike riding I find puts on more muscle, and in an uneven way. Unfortunately I get bored after running for 10 mins, so this is a bit of a problem :x

Yeah, I do have more muscle than lots of girls I see... I'm a little bit of a side show to some of my friends because of my biceps. ("Hey, Erin, make a muscle!!"... "Uh, no.") And I have trouble finding pants that fit properly because my waist size and butt/thigh size are not the same. This is because I don't have a car so I ride my bike everywhere so I got the muscle in the lower half. Also got the booty to go with it. ;) If only I could quit drinking beer, then the little bit of chub I have in the middle would go away.
