Like I said, I'm not familiar with his stuff...but the story goes that he does several bits ( stuff that's even on his albums ) pretty much verbatim that were written by other guys, where you can prove time-wise that they wrote the jokes first. One guy in particular that he's alledgedly stolen from is Louis CK.

i'd never heard of dane cook before snl, and i thought he was hysterically funny! he reminded me of a cross between a young steve martin/chevy chase. his monologue was brilliant -- predicting that lorne wasn't ready for some of that stuff. anyhow, the opener w/ donald trump/songs was funny. the sweater skit was funny, and the target one was great too. james blunt - he sucked.
