no way. they never slide off my feet. (as long as i'm wearing thick(er) socks.)

the only thing that sucks about them is that when i walk through the snow while wearing them....i often get snow under my heel.

but...of course, that's my fault for wearing them in the snow anyway.

Wear these pretty often and next to my semi-retired pair of Camper they are probably the most comfortable shoes I own.

Thick... socks?

Good idea.

As for snow-days, just get a pair of rubbers to wear over them when you're travelling to-from work, that you can then take off when you're in-doors and free of risk of trench-foot.

nah. if i cared enough about the snow/wet socks....i'd go to the trouble of wearing actual REAL shoes when it's snowing. it's not THAT bad and dries fast.

just ordered these from my Nike connection.... I'll pay a total of $58. Mine won't be black and blue though... they're grey and lime green.

In dark brown. These polish up so shiny you can see up skirts:

These in black, but they are too tight and I hardly ever wear them:

Jump boots for snow and whenever I feel like bustin' heads at work:

I too had a pair of Merrell Sprint Blast. I blew them out when I used to trail run.

Some of the Steve Madden shoes are completely the fugliest things ever though.

Actually I almost bought some Merells now that I remember like 3 months ago, but ended up buying those Lugz instead because I found them first. (or never made it back to the store that had the Merells)

I have a pair of Fluevog's similar to these but they have laces in the front (very Bay City Roller looking):

My favorite shoes though are my chunky-heeled Mary Jane's.

i have a shoe fetish. I own about 8 pairs of shoes and six of them are pumas. If puma was a human and a male I would do nasty oral things to him, regardless of my personal sexual preferrence.

I also own a pair of wal-mart special velcro shoes.

and then a really expensive pair of boot type dress shoe thing that I bought to wear at my grandfathers funeral.

Whereas, the Obner's Puma is female... To the best of our knowledge. "She" has yet to show the Cap'n her cans so as to prove her sex.
