Yeah. Protect yourself, but I wouldn't start up legal battles. It's just not worth it. I am honestly still feeling the physical reprecussions from a near-legal battle that occured about 8 years ago (with my landlady and subletters of my apt). Legal battles will just make you preoccupied and paranoid; they won't fix emotional hurt either.

naw, i'm just going to go to the county law library, see that everything is in order, and go ahead & file it.


I also get along quite well with my soon-to-be Ex father-in -law. I lived in Texas for a while. I also though Texas was a "no alimony" state. I could be wrong though so don't hold me to it.
