Jon done good. I enjoyed him, even if no one else in the audience seemed to. It's good to have someone who's not "Hollywood" hosting the show.

I waver on Clooney. Sometimes I think he's remarkably charming, intelligent and funny, and other times I think he's a dick. Liked his speech though.

Damn, I never thought Matt Dillon was good-looking when he was younger, but the man has definitely improved with age. H-O-T-T.

Charlize's dress left something to be desired. The bottom part was great, that big bow on her shoulder was hideous.

I wondered while Naomi was introducing Dolly, if her eyes were averted to Heath and Michelle. I was kinda hoping she'd jump off the stage and claw Michelle's eyes out in a fit of jealous rage. Michelle did look pretty though. Heath, although cute, looked uncomfortable as always.

Wow, I felt totally uncomfortable watching Lauren Bacall flub her lines. Could she not read the teleprompter?

Jen, ditto on Aniston. BO-RING.

Poor Salma Hayek. I admit, the woman has an amazing body, so I'm always happy to see a Hollywood star with (gasp) curves. But the dress she wore made one breast look smaller than the other.

Thank God I tivo'd the broadcast and watched later (it started at 5 on the west coast). I forwarded through the entire Lily Tomlin/Meryl Streep schtick. It looked painfully annoying.

Reese was sweet and adorable, just like she always is. Haven't seen the movie yet though, but I liked Jon's crack about "Ray with white people."

Stunned that Crash won. That was the only movie I saw that was nominated. It was good, but I'm not sure if it was Oscar winner good.

You serious? It was the best intro of the night. The two of them played off each other so well and it was clearly an homage to Altman's style of line interplay (prob a better phrase than I am thinking of).

Yeah, I got that, and watched the first two minutes or so, but got bored. I was shocked at how long that interplay ran.
