Wait for cable guy to come, and then at night:

A special screening of R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet at UCB Theater, hosted by:

(Paul Scheer & Aziz Ansari)

With 2 special panelists and, hopefully the midget from TITC (he's been at every other one of these they've had)...
Sunday probably = kickball, Friday probably = a showing of about 90-120 min. of Trailers at a local movie theater...

That sounds awesome.

that DOES sound awesome. bootlgplskthx

I've heard it's amazing - I mean, I already own Trapped In The Closet, and have watched it numerous times, but something about the spectacle seeing it there appeals to me (plus they always sell out super quick)...

I even bought an extra ticket, but Stacey said something about the ice cream being creamier in VT...

It was Vermonty Python and while that's the closest I've come to finding my favorite combination of coffee ice cream and oreo cookies at the stores, there was something lacking. Perhaps not enough cookie. I'd definitely try it again, but I would probably pick a date with you over it.

Phish Food or maybe Black & Tan on the other hand...

Note to self: Dates from here on out should start being "ice cream on the way to a bar"...

That way, they'll want to go, regardless of their thoughts of me.

Its hard to slip the roofies into the ice cream though.

I have a half a pint of that Vermonty Python in my freezer...Pretty good stuff although yeah it could be better. I have a ben & jerry's cookbook and an ice cream maker...my favorite recipe of theirs is a coffee mocha ice cream with chocolate covered graham crackers. Its so good, I don't know why they don't sell that one in stores.

I need to hear about that peppermint thin mint flavor...I've never seen it is it Ben & jerry's. I love peppermint but won't buy an ice cream larger than a pint out of guilt and I can never find any peppermint in the pint size.

I found it a couple weeks ago at a Vons - Ben & Jerrys pint - and haven't found it again since. It's a not-too-smooth pepermint ice cream (think Breyers vanilla for texture) with pieces of thin mint-style cookie in it.

It was, quite possibly, some of the best ice cream I've had over the past couple of years.

Boss just handed me two tix to the Minneapolis Reg. semifinals games tonight. This, just after he noticed booze on my breath from lunch.

Oh cool...I have seen that. I just didn't realize at the time that it was new or that the ice cream was peppermint and not just mint.

all my plans for the weekend just went to shit. last night i went grocery shopping, did laundry, had a couple of vodka/crans, watched motorcycle diaries and passed out halfway through it and was in bed by 12:30. so tonight, going to a warehouse party with my best friend since i haven't been out dancing in awhile and since me & her haven't hung out in awhile... and she's bartending, so we're getting wasted.

Warehouse party? Daaaaaaaaayum, that brings memories!

I'm fuckin' bored, sitting in my house all alone and attempting to get drunk at 6:30pm. Why do I feel like Chase or Cotton? Cuz they're my drinking idols, that's why. ;)
