that's funny, considering the conversation I had with the groom-to-be of this hellfest the other night:
him: "apparently, there's this private topless beach we'll have access to with the suite"
me: "so what, are there just people that get paid to hang out at the hotel topless?"
him: "I guess so. That's just what the email said"
me: "wow, how are there nude beaches in the desert?"
him: "topless. it's not nude"
me: "can we go nude?"
him: "dude, I said topless"
me (pondering): "nude beach...."

but I can assure you, there will not be one photo taken of me the entire time. I'm no dummy.

I love that I'm already considered the person most likely to embarrass this group of rich, horny dudes, and I'm the one who doesn't gamble and gets bored in strip clubs. My girlfriend is convinced I'm gonna be all wasted roaming the desert looking for Snoopy's cousin Spike. I am not making this up.

I must be the one who needs reading comprehension courses. I cannot for the life of me figure out what made OPA! get bucky on Spade, why his thread was so bad it was locked AND some new admin policy was started by Haq, OR what these two have against each other. I do remember something about OPA! shitting all over the Hop on Pop rekkid, but did it really need to come to this?

ALSO, will this new policy affect any new "Posters I hate" or "Shocking NEws" threads?

...it was kind of a sleeper issue, I think, looking back at it. I missed it live, but reconstruction efforts proved useless.

It was benign at first. On Friday, SK just asked for killfile in Firefox and myself and others threw him a couple of links. No names were mentioned, although clearly some assumptions were made regarding the focus of SK's killfile. Then it sorta died until yesterday's miraculous resurrection one day late.

I don't understand why they're fighting either. They have so much in common...they both like music, both like things up their butt...

Now THAT is one HILARIOUS trip down Obner memory lane! Well-played, mystery prankster.

i didn't read all of this, but I want to make a board feature suggestion. if possible, i would like it so the threads on the main forum page get those little windows that pop up when you leave your cursor over them and they show you like the first 5 sentences of the first post. you know the feature i'm speaking of?

i want it just for general convenience, but also, i think some people will agree seeing the first lines of someone's parody post is all you really need. "clutter" posts could then be skimmed, instead of "viewed". less views would mean fewer temptations to needlessly post and bump dumb threads.

I'm betting that's not such an easy thing to do.

How about we just don't make parody threads? I don't understand the temptation.

[img][410:500]http://www.zachklein.com/hello/264/994/1024/Sofia.jpg[/img] administrative points

would also work, given this boards affinity with putting pictures in every other post.

I hate this feature. Hate it, hate it.
