if it's for the common good and that can be demonstrably (is that a word?) proven, i'm for it. what would be bad about having only extremely fuel efficient cars on the market? someone please enlighten me.

It's a little thing we enjoy called freedom.

I'm still waiting for someone to actually enlighten me.

Well, Talladega would look pretty damned stupid with a bunch of Prius' puttering 'round and 'round.

Oh, I guess I didn't mention that I'm in favor of abolishing Nascar as well. Think of all the gas we'd save and how many rednecks would immediately kill themselves? Bush Country would cease to exist and the rest of the country could actualy begin to function with a brain again.

I'm going to be avoiding that for the rest of my life by teaching English in random foreign countries around the world.

That's not very forward thinking. Over here, we're all moving to Spanish. Ain't you heard?

no te preocupes...hablo un poco d'espanol tambien.

I'm no fan of NASCAR, but by god it's no more boring than fucking soccer.

This is absurd. Soccer is the best sport in the world. By far. It wastes no gas and rednecks hate it.

What about tear gas?

Also, what about throwing bananas and doing the monkey chant at black players?

Yeah, I suppose that's one thing you'll never see at a NASCAR event. I'm still gonna fight for my freedom to drive a stupidly fast fuel inefficient car.

I think we should put a Windfall Profits Tax on legislators who seek consulting jobs after leaving office. Lecture circuit, too.

That's the idea. We just decide what to cap off salary at and put the rest towards growing organic hemp.
