I put this record on the other day and wondered aloud why it didn't blow the hell up. I think it's actually my favorite record of his now. There's more energy in "Milk and Honey" and "Hollywood Freaks" than Guero has in it's entirety.

I tend to wonder how this record would do if it were released today.

to me the best beck albums are "Sea Change" "Mutations" and "Odelay"

I have a hard time choosing on any given day, but I'd say that it's probably Sea Change 6 times out of 10.
