This espn one sounds muuuch better. Although half my team will probably be Barca players...

Without having looked at it, I assume you do better if your players' teams stay in the tournament longer?

I almost switched out Shevchenko for Toni. He's been a good scoring maniac for the last year and a half.

Rooney is fit......hell yeah.

Actually, now I think about it, I don't know. Shevchenko and Eto'o are the other 2 that come to mind for me.

Seeing as I haven't looked at it yet, how does the scoring system work? I assume you're better off if the teams you're players are in get past the group stage?

i like your squad, but buffon? after all the gambling implications and nonsense? i think italy gets bounced in the first round because of all their crap they've got going on...as much as i'd like to see the US advance, it will probably be czech and perhaps even ghana.

You need to read the thread, Gauchebag. He's already changed Cisse for Koller. You qouted his new team in one post. I thought Ronaldinho was only listed as a striker, how did you get him in midfield. Can you swap positions around now?

i had to swap out Cech as GK to bring in Koller as FW

Buffon is still one of the best GKs in the world

I need to change my team because I'm pretty sure Ramos pulled out injured for Spain...

a bump for those not keeping track (i'm looking at you gauche), here's a refresher on the leagues i've set up:

http://fpli.premierleague.com/index.html
180538-31558

http://espnsoccernet.fantasyleague.com/Index.aspx
1503

the first is arguably inferior in that it doesn't have non-EPL players but it's more interesting in that you have to work with a budget and can choose between a couple different formations. the second--sponsored by espn--has no budget, has all the players, and restricts you to a 4-4-2.
