I've gone through many teams over the years, but over the past 10, I'd say the team with the most UGA Football alumni. For a time that team was the Seattle Seahawks. I've stuck by their side since around 2001.

I guess home state favorite is Atlanta Falcons, and every so often I'll pay attention to what the Tennessee Titans are up to.

Harry, don't you know you can get 25 to life for even mentioning Lamonica?

Or even Kenny Stabler. ;)

Yeah, somehow I knew that harry was a raiders fan without even knowing it. It just makes sense, right?

My family had season tickets before they moved to Lame Land. (S-116-R-28-S-4/5) I was one lucky kid going to most, but not all of those great games. The Heidi Game, Sea of Hands. Yep, I was at both. The Immaculate Reception was one of my more devastating moments as a 12 year old kid. I fucking cried. BTW - I loved the Mad-Bomber, but Kenny, whilst drunk made us a championship team.

Looks like it's going to be another crappy year.

Edit - I'll never forget the year Blanda came in and won all those games in the final moments, one being a 51 yard field goal to beat the Browns with no time on the clock. I recall a drunk Browns fan behind us who torched his Cleveland Browns pennant and started a small fire in our section. I believe that was the same day the 'Aints Tom Dempsey hit that record setting field goal which has since been broken.

Hmm. You're almost as old as I am. I remember Blanda at 43 passing and kicking scores in the last few minutes. In his early 40's... I thought he was an old man. The Hammer. The Snake. The Stork. Glory days.

That farce was the worst "record" in professional sports for a long time. The dude had an anvil attached to his shoe.

Who broke that? Jason Elam? Mile high air? Special ball?

I guess Elam's kick actually tied Dempsey which in my book means he has the record, mountain air or not.

The anvil in question:

Cool, I thought the same thing for years. A f**king anvil.

I don't have a team. As my interest in the Pack declined, starting seven or eight years ago, so too my interest in the NFL. I do want to see a Bengals Super Bowl, though, since they were so bad, for so long.

Also, I am keeping track of Favre's career interception totals.

CHASING BLANDA: 23 interceptions away

I'm apparently the only one of my kind here.

And Loogs, I've hated the Cowgirls for longer than you've been drawing breath.

You will be happy to know that I have hated the Skins as long as I have known what football was.

My bro even had my parents buy us Cowboys and Redskins helmets, so he could put ME in the Redskins and make like the all star.

That's okay. Rumor has it the local priest wore a Cowgirls helmet so he could pretend he was Rafael Septien.

Half of me wants this, the other half wants Redskins vs. Jaguars; that would mean no victory parade in the Queen City.

Then again, my interest in the second is purely literary. I wrote a short story back in the '01, and it featured, as a sidelight, a Skins/Jags Super Bowl. (Of course, there was also a highlight-reel interception and return by Champ Bailey, who is now in Denver. Well, if Southeast Jerome, who went the other way in that trade of two (?) years ago, can be the hero, then, sure, my "prediction" rings truthy.)

Yeah.

I hate and love the Saints at the same time.

I'm also begining to like the Cowboys cause of the LSU players even though I hated them for years.

i just root for teams that have OSU Beavers on them. So I guess its the Bengals (Chad Johnson, TJ Housh) or the Rams (Stephen Jackson)

Redskins. That's right, I remember now. You and Scotty D.

Alright, let's keep this up. I'd hate to have to force people to adopt teams to satisfy my goal of having an obner fan of every team.

Like, where is juice? Is he a Houston fan?

I thought Daunte started off slow for the first series or so and then looked sharp for the rest of his time in.

Our offense, on the other hand, couldn't do anything. I did like that 98-yd kick return that Deangelo broke off, though. Our D didn't impress me much in last night's game either. Pretty sluggish game as a whole, though Fox said that's pretty common the game after you break camp (especially since we broke camp 2 days early).
