Aaaaaah!! Kill It! AAAAAHHHH!!!

Isn't there a goat farm near there somewhere, that you can just stand there for free and play tapes of instrumental indie songs and drink Jameson? I swear, you won't know it's not him singing!

you think i'd actually pay for this show? i've been curious to see them live... but it not going to kill me if i don't go. it's more of a favor for my roommate because he really, really wanted to go and my friend hooked up tickets for the show. in any case, i'll be at the bar drinking jameson 99% of the time.

I've seen 'em live and was not disappointed. Then again, I like the band.

Serendipitous that these two posts occurred consecutively.

& to the Chicago film fest, I'm going to try to sneak out of work early enough to get to the 415 of 12.16 East of Buc.

Yeah yeah.

so, uh, why are you going? Not to sound like you have no reason to, but isn't this just gonna make her think you like her?

well, I met her and her roommate through a friend, so I'm gonna go with said friend...plus I kinda dig the roommate...I suck.

plus she's pretty cool, I'm just not attracted to her at all.

Ah! The old roommate switcheroo. This is a difficult one.

I don't even know what blumpkin means.

Check your PMs. Movie's at 4pm, though.

I got a "new" car yesterday, to finally replace the '91 Honda Hand-Me-Down that was totalled a couple months back by the messed-up meth twins.

I'm not actually getting to pick it up until Tuesday, but it's in immaculate condition. The dude I'm buying it from is one of those late-50-something Elks who's so obsessive-compulsive about his vehicle and vehicle accessories that he has documentation for every single oil change and tire rotation he's ever had. He's probably also got one of those ultra-neat garages with every tool hung in exactly its right place and not so much a single spot of oil on the speckle painted floor.

Thank God for dudes like this guy! Oh, the car is a 2002 Chrysler Sebring that looks (both inside and out) as if it just rolled off the showroom floor. It's got a brand-new set of Pirellis and a rebuilt transmission. I am loaded for bear.

Pirellis on a Chrysler? You better make sure there's no smell coming from the crawlspace.

Bro's an Elk, so I'm pretty sure the crawlspace smell is already assumed. It's not like he's a Mason and can take his victims down to the Masonic Temple for cremation or a similarly non-messy disposal method.

One of my mom's coworkers is the wife of the president of a Masonic Lodge. Now, my mom better not ever think of requesting off the same weekends as that coworker. Or, I'll be good as an orphan.

rumor has it that he was soused and on all fours barking at the television last night during a viewing of the last waltz..
it could take days to sort it all out.
