my boyfriend and i have been trying to cut back to <5 per day, which isn't great, but it's progress. so far so good, except for after meals, at bars, after sex, before sex, in the car, during sex, after pot, and at work. also, i'm getting fat on accounta all the eating.

I've quit several times. Longest was for three and a half years due to pregnancy, childbirth etc.

I'm slowly weaning myself off again. I don't have the taste for it like I did.

I pretty much quit drinking(which means EVEN saturday night at yer show ryan, I won't be drinking) so that helps. I smoke less now that I'm not.

Josh smokes a pack a day probably and it's icky. I've been all over him about us going on a collective quit.

p.s. I'm bringing a friend from work sat night. She needs to get drunk cause her ex is an ass. Cute girl too, maybe we can fix her up with Spence.

Nah, cold turkey is the way to go, just make sure you apologize ahead of time to your gf about the ensuing attitude. I tried the "i'll cut down slowly" approach, but after 8 months I realized it wasn't working. I had been smoking for almost 9 years and it was just to easy to talk myself into having one.
