And yeah, L"D"Ts stats have been juiced for a while now. Ever since he was in sight of the record, the play-calling stopped being what's best for the team in the situation, and became getting him the ball. Doesn't take away from what he's accomplished, because he's still scoring. But when they're up 21 points on Denver, and still hand him the ball with about 3 minutes to go, you can't tell me that was about winning the game.

You're still sore that Ditka let Fridge Perry score a TD in the Super Bowl and not Walter Payton, aren't you?

You really do fight dirty.

Ditka does this weekly thing on a sports station here and they asked him about it: He says its the only thing he regrets in his entire coaching career.

BTW, did you see Gene Wojciechowski thing on the Bears today? A solid mix of cheap shots and good points IMHO.

Yeah, I've heard him say that quite a few times.

I read that article a couple days ago. I thought it was complete crap, and I can't believe that guy has a job. While the point he was trying to make, that the Bears have "problems" is true, he never actually says anything of substance. All teams have problems, and I realize what the Bears problems are. I can list them for you if you'd like. But this guy is a douchebag taking pot-shots just to fill an article.

Hell, I'd even go through and refute every one of his dumbass points, but I doubt you or anyone really cares enough for me to go through that effort.

You are bigger homer than anyone I have ever come into contact with, thisotherkingdon. It's almost sad.

Really? What exactly have I said that makes me a homer? I'd seriously like to hear it.

Well, anytime anyone has said anything positive about someone in this thread, you reply with some variation of "X dude who is or was on the bears is better."

Anytime anyone said anything negative about The Bears, you go buck on them.

Defensive about your team + constant denigration of other teams in comparison to your team + blinders when anyone points out your team's problems = HOMER.

Sorry, man, you're wrong.

I said Charles Tillman was having a pro bowl year, and deserved to go over DeAngelo Hall. Even a Falcons fan said Hall didn't deserve the pro bowl this year.

I was arguing Vick or McNabb over Romo in the pro bowl, NOT GROSSMAN.

I said that sacks were the most useless stat in football, and that the scheme Urlacher plays in drops him into coverage and he doesn't get blitzed very often. Then I also said that a rookie on the Bears has 10 sacks, and that I WASN'T singing his praises because I realize sacks aren't that big in the grand scheme of things.

I think the only thing remotely close to being a homer was that Urlacher is better than Merriman. And, well, he is.

Oh, and the "blinders" about my team's problems. Even that dick that wrote that article, I responded with "I know what the Bears problems are and could list them." Where are the blinders exactly?

You're acting like I'm spouting off in every post like, THE BEARS WILL WIN THE SUPER BOWL. Fact is, I'd be thrilled if they could finally win a play-off game.

Not good enough. I want an apology, and a "You're right, you aren't a homer." 8)

Oh, I still think you're a homer (and delusional) but at least you can argue...probably fun to drink and watch a game with as well.

Go Cowboys.

Now there's something I can't argue with.

This is as close as you'll ever get to an apology with Loog.

Cherish it, even though he got brainwashed during his time in Texas.

Bloor, yes.
