Now that's a dumb statement.

Maybe they executed better but i'm not sure how you make a determination that they wanted to win more.

Here's how: by the time the game hit OT, the red-hot Seahawks offense suddenly went nowhere against a Bears defense that was spending too much time out on the field. The Bears wanted the win more but I'll say it loudly and clearly, the Seahawks are a great team and they put up a hell of a fight.

If I was in your shoes I'd be pissed too.

The only shoes i'm in are the anti-Bear shoes because of you nitwits all year. They'll lose eventually and it'll only make it more painful to bears fans.

i'm ok with that, at least you have 85.

Nope. The one thing you can't say about this game is that Rex nearly blew it. Aside from that one costly fumble he played very well overall under constant pressure (sacked 3 times!) and actually had a couple of great throws that weren't caught but should have by his two main receivers: Muhammad and Berrian. Rex was smart enough to throw balls away instead of trying to force his passes in traffic which usually get him an interception.

Wrong, this game should have been a blow-out, but on at least four occasions Rex through the ball behind wide open receivers. He won't get this kind of margin for error against the Saints.

Not sure where you're coming from here Bilz. Granted, Seattle hasn't played well down the stretch this season, but they actually played a pretty decent game today. I watched every play, and don't recall too many poor passes from Grossman that would have turned this into a blowout had they been on target.

Remind me.

Yeah Billz, were you even watching the same game?

I have to agree with you though that the Saints are going to be an even tougher challenge. Even if the Bears play their best, their upcoming competition is going to play much harder than what the Seahawks put up today.

Grossman had a few throws that were slightly off target but very catchable. His receivers didn't make the plays. That's not his fault.

Not every pass can be 100% accurate.

No, not every pass--but most should be. Several behind the receiver passes stand out--the crossing pattern over the middle, a few on the little swing pass they like to throw, and one on a deeper pass--granted I wasn't taking notes so I can't tell you the time nor the target. Rex managed a fairly safe, unexciting game--but it was hardly a "great" day throwing the ball.

Dear Seahawks fans...

good game.

Thanks Phil.

Yeah, Seattle played better than I expected them to and hung with with Bears just fine. Fun game.

Good luck next week vs. the Saints.

NOTE TO FT: this is the proper way to react to your team losing.

True, but such is to be expected of TDM, a well-respected medical doctor and generally fine upstanding member of society, as opposed to me, a known jackass with poor social skills and an overall lack of decorum.

I must admit, if my team had lost today the way your team lost last week, I'd be calling for beheadings too. :drink:

I don't feel good about that.

For some reason as much as i don't like Bears fans i think their team is gonna pull it out just to annoy me to no end.

And if they end up facing the Colts in the SuperBowl it'll be the first time that i'll have to root for a power outage.

Bears-Pats redux. Mark it down.

Bears won't win by 30 this time though.
