It's okay. Very low budget, but some solid atmospheric creepiness. Didn't really make much of an impression on me.

I didn't hate it, but only because it went in such a shitty direction after starting out really strong.

My feelings on Donald Pleasance's replacement still stand.

i think it tried to be a zombie comedy like dead alive but took this weird turn a little more than halfway thru and never recovered.

i posted on that michael vick forum with the name f.f. woodycooks and wrote "the nfl is a bunch of ding-a-lings for suspending vick!"

i read that but never had seen the guy. he should enter into that mustache competition if his tv career ever goes south.

this made me laugh:

wikipedia Wrote:
The character is based on Chicagoan J.J. Bittenbinder, an ex-cop who hosted a television show about crime safety. Mr. Show writer and cast member Paul F. Tompkins has said he was inspired to create the character after seeing an episode of Bittenbinder's show in which the host referred to a group of rapists as "goofs."

on a side note, i've been trying to watch infernal affairs 2 + 3 and these have to be the most convoluted sequels ever. i can't remember who anyone is.

I just ordered a copy of that last night, along with Snake Woman's Curse. Synapse/Panik House release a lot of cool shit like this.

HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEN starts tonight.

I'm excited.

I watched House of 1000 Corpses last night in honor of Mr. Zombie. Twice.

Has anyone seen his wife in anything other than Devils Rejects and House? She's super hot, but I wonder if she'd be as hot playing someone other than Baby. Guess I'll find out when I see Halloween.

she was in that Tobe Hooper movie a few years ago. She's still pretty hot, and her voice was just a little less likely to make me pour rubber cement into my ears.

Faces Of Death Remake huh?

And how are Steve Niles and whoever's directing 30 Days Of Night, not suing the shit out of the makers of Frostbiten and Stephen King and Eli Roth not all over the makers of The Signal?

It looks like there's some decent horror movies coming out.

Frontiere
Catacombs
Eden Log
Grizzly Park
Hatchet
Inside
Mulberry Street
The Mist
Living Hell
Outpost
P2
Seed
Sin-Jin Smyth
The Strangers
Whisper
Wrong Turn 2

Those movies have basically the same exact plot as the others. I guess they really don't have a case unless the movie ripped of their name too. I heard that The Signal was pretty good though.

Haven't seen Re-Cycle nor seen the trailer. It's getting good reviews and it's available pretty cheap from hkflix.com.

Shiv, not exactly horror, but have you seen the red band trailer for Aliens vs. Predator? It actually looked like it might have some entertaining bits in it...
