I didn't realize MTV played her at one point. She was on Sony Work though and now V2. Don't think those are indie, but her records never exactly flew off the shelves I guess.

Nah, I wouldn't lump her as indie. She used to pop up on "Alternative Nation" and late-night back in the mid-to-late nineties.
