Oh I wasn't being defensive, I just didn't see it. I guess Kid A definitely qualifies. I don't know if I'd slot those other ones there, but yeah they don't really fall into my usual listening. Actually it was really really hard to do, because this decade wasn't well represented in iTunes.

The Streets aren't so much PPDD as out and out terrible.

You should submit yourself for one of those neurological studies you conduct, Chuckles

Actually, based on my current listening rotation, the rape rock has pretty much gotten most of that stuff out of my system. But I still have my "spells".

Ive never been against what radcliffe likes, Im just surprised his list is so...ordinary.

as far as the money goes, i make probably in the middle of board wage-earners, since im a resident, but that isnt exactly the point

www.artistdirect.com - no joe pisapia
www.half.com - no joe pisapia
www.ebay.com - no joe pisapia
www.secondspin.com - no joe pisapia
www.djangos.com - no joe pisapia
www.amazon.com - no joe pisapia

so, thanks for the suggestion. maybe it is on emusic.

This weighs heavily towards the early part of the decade as for the past few years I haven't paid much attention to new releases. Also, this is not in order. I went through my excel sheet by year and picked albums that stood out on first go through. I have more but am not going to rank them all just to reach 30.

Broadcast--Noise Made By People
Moose--High Ball Me!
American Analog Set--Know by Heart
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci--How I Long to Feel...
Pernice Brothers--The World Won't End
Slim Cessna's Auto Club--Always Say Please and Thank You (doesn't anyone else like this band??)
The Zephyrs--When the Sky Comes Down It Comes Down on Your Head
Belle & Sebastian--Fold Your Hands Child (maybe not best but I listen to it more than the others from this decade)
The Delgados--The Great Eastern
16 Horsepower--Folklore
Libertines--Up the Bracket
Nina Nastasia--The Blackened Air
M. Ward--End of Amnesia
Dump--A Grown-Ass Man
Aberfeldy--Young Forever
David Kilgour--Frozen Orange
The Bats--At the National Grid
Cat Power--You Are Free

Best list so far. But you should have said Calla - Scavengers instead of Televise.

Good call on Yume Bitsu. Love that album, but I had kinda forgotten about it.
