I guess flawless was poor choice of words but those seven albums are great in my view opinion. There are no perfect albums really

I would say Neil Young has about seven albums that are pretty much flawless.

i love Neil, but ALL of his albums have some flaws. not a knock, but he always throws a clunker or 5 on his albums.

I'll say again, sometimes flaws are strengths, and strengths are flaws. How do you define perfect... Lucinda Williams "Car Wheels on a ..." took over a year to record to allow time to achieve exactly the mistakes or throw away quality she wanted.

Neil Young is a bag of miscues, a symphony of embarassing choices, and it is core to what makes him authentically irresistible.

cant agree with you there....EKTIN, TTN, OTB, Zuma, RNS, RG, HM and SWA have no weak tracks on them. There are few artists that have that many flawless albums im my opinion.

I was just thinking about Highway 61 Revisited. Those guys got about as close as you can get to perfection. I can't think of anything wrong with that ablum.
