Totally agree with this. There is someone out there waiting to smother you and prevent what's inside from escaping until you boil over. Don't lose hope.

You are the Julio Teheran of dating.

(Sorry, ATL boys. But the joke is on me, too: Julio is on my rotisserie team.)

been trying on the $$$ front, but probably have more of a realistic shot to make a dent with respect to the LBS.

just might have to be the summer of diet and exercise

Start running and eating right. Do that couch to 5k program on the espn website. You might be lonely but you'll feel better, raise your self esteem, and maybe shed enough lbs that you're a contender. No time like the present bobbo.

Man do I hate fucking running. HATE it. Tried a few times with the wife, and it was just not meant to be. Bike riding, though, is also free and much easier on your knees and shins.

Bobbo you ever thought about it? Like, is there some sports bar or other worthy destination you could work up to being able to bike to? You get to set your own pace, go as fast as you want, then one day you notice it takes you half the time it used to. Anywho.

I would LOVE to get a bicycle (much more preferable to running, jogging or even walking), but it's hard to find one to support someone with my 6'5" 380 frame

any suggestions? isn't derris a big wheel down at the huffy factory?

This looks like your huckleberry, but I'm not sure a $650+ bike is compatible with your newly impoverished state: http://www.supersizedcycles.com/Bicycle ... e-s/22.htm

BAD IDEA: While looking through some old albums I haven't listened to in a while, I just stumbled upon Beck's Sea Change, which I now have no choice but to place on endless loop for the foreseeable future.

HOLY SHIT WRONG ALBUM!!!

Look, get some good happy power pop and start walking and jogging. The money you'll save by cutting down portion size, put towards a bike.

But do it for yourself, you WILL feel better, you will live longer and healthier for your kids, yadda yadda.

Besides, it beats wallowing, and gets you in a productive routine. I'm going at 5 a.m. cause i don't want to run into people. I still do, but far fewer people than I do at 6.

It doesn't take long before the days you take off from running don't feel right, and you realize you're a cranky pants without it.

Don't get all jealous cause i've got working legs there, brother. It's not my fault that our sedentary life arcs must now part because god gave you my share of metabolism.

I know this isn't exactly in your neck of the woods (although there could very well be a Metroplex alternative), but I've heard there's a guy in Georgetown who picks up old bikes and shit where he can, fixes them up and sells them cheap.
