...Never seen such a broad mix of people in my life, and I've been to NYC...
Haha, so very true.

One of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen...
Yes, I agree America’s most beautiful bigger city.

Cannot believe how much real estate is there...
It’s unreal

For the most part, these people could give a fuck how cool you say any other city is, and now I know why...
Yes, I became that way as well. You get into the mind set of why would you waste your life away when you have such amazing options like this.

Amoeba music store is fucking UNREAL, I was a dork and took pictures in there...
Yes SF Amoeba is the best because of selection, selection, and selection. I have spent thousands at all of them but the SF store has the widest and deepest selection.

Saw the best view of any city EVER...Got drunk and ended up in a hot tub with two lesbians, a married couple, and my girlfriend, all naked. Welcome to California!!!...
Sounds about right.

Taking a dog on a walk on a beach without having to put a leash on him is the best...Do these people realize how fucking out-of-control their real estate is?...If I lived there, I'd drive my car off a fucking cliff when I saw it was $2.67 for a gallon of gas.
Yes it is unreal but you are paid better because of the price of living. I traveled quite a bit and always asked managers in my same position what they got paid and it was always under my salary unless they had years and years on me.

Then I'd take public transit because it's EVERYWHERE (Take notes ATL)!
The best thing that ever happened to me was losing my transmission right before moving there in 1995, so I didn’t take it. Not owning a car was the most liberating thing in the world. When a car was given to me, because of my position at work, got a garage and considerate it my car payment. No point in owning a car there if you are still relatively young. After a while you get to know those hidden spots but still took BART quite a bit because taking a car downtown is not worth it.

Took a tour of Alctraz and STILL know nothing about it. What a fucking joke tour that is. The boat ride there and back was WAY more interesting...I'd shoot myself in the eyeball if I had to look for a parking place in that town everyday...Without a doubt the coolest city I've ever visited. I wonder though if it's not TOO cool.
Yeah this is kind of why I left. It is too cool and after seven years I had enough. That being said I talked to my bother just yesterday and told him that I might come back up and see if I can get a job up there again. I still have my apartment, that is a steal in the Mission, and I miss SF every day.
Very astute observation for being there a short time.
