So what's the big upset this weekend? I'm much more looking forward to the NFC games which means they will probably both suck.

Texans beating Baltimore *in* Baltimore @ The Vault would be huge for them.

I would love to see this happen, not sure if we can pull it off with Yates though. Either way, hope the winner of this game winds up in the Super Bowl as in spite of me hoping they fall apart on Sunday, I still love that Ravens defense.

Don't know, but many of the "experts" are picking the niners over the saints. Mainly because it's on the road and on grass. If this happens after what happened Monday, I may be the pic above (not Pete).

I think the Niners are going to get humbled.

Also, the Saints are favored in the game.

I think I would rank the likelihood of updates to be:

1. Houston
2. San Fran
3. Giants
4. Pats

Kinda of liking how much heat the Giants seem to be getting...could be good for the Pack.

Manning's about due for a pouty-face game full of 2+ interceptions and foot-stomping.
Since he's had a few good games, he's about ripe for one.
He's either all on or all off.

Go Pack!

Good game so far for someone rooting against the Saints.

HA. I was going post "blow me"' but I see Jerkass has taken care of that.

Alex Smith became a man... A couple of those throws at the end were Montana-worthy.

That game was further proof that Jim Harbaugh is light years better than any other coach - not just in the NFL, but in all sports. EVERY OTHER COACH IN THE LEAGUE would have played it safe and settled for the game-tying field goal. But Harbaugh's cojones make the Rock of Gibraltar look like a pebble.

Seriously. Harbaugh done made a man out of that boy. Also, Vernon Davis went HAM.

Jerkass, shoot me a PM if you have a compelling argument for why I need to see a cock in this thread. Otherwise, sorry dude.

Nah. They lost on the road in the first round to the 7-9 Seahawks last year and again on the road in their first round to the Niners this year. They need their home dome advantage to advance to the Superbowl, like they did in '09. Better win 14 next year.

I was pulling for NO but I'm happy for Alex Smith--glad to see him have success.

So funny. I actually texted Bloor both: "Niners better not go the Bobo route and lose this by being pussies" when the Saints took the lead, and "I forgot Harbaugh makes Saban look like a pussy" when they downed it on 3rd and 3 and then tossed the TD. That is the best playoff game I can remember watching in a few years. Instant. Classic.

Hey jerkass - drinking a Toronto Cocktail I had a modified version in Louisville, but this is good. Fernet!

Re: Fernet.
Everyone kinda cringes initially since I usually serve it the Argentinian coke and fernet combo with a thick frothy head and a Jaegerish flavor profile. But after the first few sips people usually get 2 or 3 more glasses full.

Some have claimed they don't get a hangover off of Fernet. I can attest otherwise.

I have all those ingredients in that link. Here's to a Toronto Cocktail taste test.

Results: It's good. It's a more dilute mixture of Fernet than I usually consume that highlights the floral and herbal nature of this digestif. I'm also noticing it has a subtle decongestant property or else it's the floral esters getting up in my sinuses. Good find.

My modification since I prefer a highball: 1.5 oz Woodford reserve (not rye), 0.5 oz Fernet, splash of rail vodka, splash of triple sec, dash of bitters topped off with sprite. Me likey.
