OBFEST 2013

Didn't someone once suggest this? Trying to find a centralized locale would be a pain. Who here lives near Lebanon, Kansas?

there's gotta be a central city everyone would be up for spending a few days in. but which one?

And a few of the monsters around here would probably use it for something, too.

Just carried this sign with you at all times, as a reminder to, say, Monty.

People are going to start getting antsy once they realize the sports bar and the skating rink are it.

Come to Montgomery. I could get us a real sweet package deal, and show y'all all the Confederate History, and MR: Hank Williams' grave.

I had a guy tell me a story about going up there with some ladies, and one of them lays down on the grave and says "Next time that train comes by, I want you to fuck me on the grave while they're blowin that whistle."

It's not a terrible place to be ;)

Sam's and Champs are the real winners on that list. Dreamland is OK, and does have a great beer selection. Jim n Nicks is too bougie for me, but the food is actually pretty good. Best collareds out of the whole list for sure.

Bring Mini-Dalen and he and DeMatthew can go play with the hood kids at the park near my house. Hot Cheetos and Takis!

The Ober roadtrip and Obnerfest are two ideas that float around every once in a while. It should be done.

I'm kinda feeling Montgomery. I mean, we'd be in good hands with GAR!

Thoughts?

Let's face it, Dallas is the perfect spot. Just about every airport in America has direct flights to DFW. We're just about halfway between the west coast and east coast.

Do it.

i get the point about the midwest...being all central and all. however, i'd like it to be in a city that i would actually want to visit for a long weekend and convince femparis to come along. chicago, austin, and new orleans would probably top my list.

It does, but it is centrally located and easily accessible.
