The following year Quinn became involved in a dramatic recount of the 1960 presidential election ballots. After nearly 2 months of challenges and recounts, over 2,000 ballots were declared invalid.

Voter fraud, favoring Nixon, took place on fairly large scale and in several districts. It didn't matter much as Kennedy-Johnson won despite Hawaii and the delayed count of its 3 electoral votes.

Sound familiar.
