I got wasted, then got into fight with gf; i slept on the couch instead of slugging it out; now i'm hungover and drinking coffee; and, its raining again.

I had that one beer, then went to bed and read some of this book I've been reading for two months that I never get anywhere with. It bores the hell out of me, but since it's so boring it also makes me really sleepy so I keep it by my bedside so when I can't sleep I pick it up, read 20 pages and wow-instant sleep!!

Then my cats woke me twice in the middle of the night. Charlie woke me once with a nightmare. One of those times I ended up eating a damn cupcake while I was up. And since I've woken up I have that weird "I just ate sugar in the middle of the night" icky feeling. Yuck.

Tonight I'll be home by myself so I'll have some wine and not have to worry about a little person.

Update: My neighbour's dog, Muffin, who has been around for 15 years was put to sleep today. RIP, Muffin. You were a good boy. :(

On a lighter note -- kinda sorta -- my Lollapalooza tickets were lost by FedEx. HOWEVER, after speaking to the ticket people, I now have tickets waiting for me at the box office when I arrive on Friday. Whew! Glad that got resolved.

After cracking the first beer at 9am this morning in rough seas, I soon coached a former NFL/Heisman star to place a tournament winning fish. That was the beginning of a long continuous buzz through the trophy session at 9pm. I am so beat up and stilll rocking with the boat. But it was fun!
