Dude. I lost my playoff game by 2 fucking points.

Nick Folk cost me 3 with his missed field goal.

Then again there is Shonn Greene who is possibly "Fantasy Bust of the Year".

Awful.

perhaps in the "active all year" category, but i think vincent jackson owns this overall.

Semi-music and sports related. Anybody see this commentary piece on ESPN by Nils Lofgren? Random.

Vick paid his dues, people need to get over it and move on. He is actively promoting and campaigning against animal cruelty.

The comparison to Josh Hamilton's drug addiction is unfounded. I'm sure Hamilton's family and friends were hurt and affected by his actions. It wasn't like his addictions only hurt himself.

I'm sorry, but I'm not just going to "get over" what he did. I pretty much agreed with the majority of what this Mr. Lofgren said, the only thing being that I disagree that Vick should have been banned. Vick has played the remorseful part well, I'll give him that, and he probably does deserve a second chance. He did his time, sure. But he certainly doesn't deserve my forgiveness for what he did.

Wow. The video of the Metrodome collapsing is crazy. This is the 3rd time the roof has failed. I wonder how many people will show up in Detroit to see the Vikings vs. Giants.

The Metrodome roof collapse is the best piece of video the NFL has given us all year.

CBS invoked the "mercy rule" early in the third quarter and sent us to that Miami-Jets fiasco.

I'm having trouble processing the kind of success Atlanta is having right now. Like, I keep thinking that we're winning TOO MUCH and maybe a late season loss might help us re-focus, get angry, or something. Crazy talk.

I'd like our secondary to be a bit better but the fact we are in the top 5 in time of possession every week helps make our average D a bit above average.

Still, this HAS to be the first time in franchise history we have clinched a playoff berth this early.

I'm having trouble processing what happened to Green Bay yesterday. I kind of figured Detroit would play us tough, but that was ridiculous....painful to watch. Rodgers HAS to slide on a play like that, and when he went out, it was clear they were in big trouble. People are starting to call for Mccarthy's head around the state. I'm starting to inch towards that side...or at least hire an offensive coordinator and take the playbook out of his hands. Totally brutal loss.

Feel free to lose two on the way out. I'd feel a lot better about the road to the Superbowl going through Superdome.

yeah, thats what i heard. really this debacle happened so fast i didnt have time to get pissed. just kinda shrugged it off. i expected the bears to lose anyway. the packers losing to the lions was huge.

i think that lions victory over the packers was the only thing that gave some solace to bears fans at soldier field yesterday. i was outside when it went final and people were cheering like they'd just won the lottery. then once they were getting trounced, i heard like a dozen people say, "at least the packers lost, too."

Has McNabb REALLY been playing that badly? he's looked better than Carson Palmer, at least, although we don't have the Dragon to fall back on.

I can only judge him by his ability or inability to get the ball to Santana Moss since he's on my FF team. I haven't started him in weeks.

On the larger level though, I think McNabb was almost setup to fail with the Redskins: Unfamiliar offense, shaky line, no running game, mediocre receivers. Not exactly Randall Cunningham going to the Vikes in 1997 (or hell, Favre going there last year). He could also end up in Minny next year and be All World.

yeah that's exactly how I feel. I'm no McNabb fan but what the fuck do you want the guy to do?
