ohg good one. You got me good.

I'm not criticizing this thread, just having some perspective. There's nothing in this thread that you couldn't find if you know how to use google and there's virtually no music discussion beyond the "it's great" or "meh" or "it sucks." This thread doesn't hold a candle to the tenner thread.

And if I didn't already know I wanted the album enough to search for it, how am I supposed to know I want to dl it from this thread? because of the album cover? because of the intriguing combination of letters and numbers next to the mourl.com? or am I just going to always assume something always posted by an obner is worth my time?

I know there's no putting the genie back in the bottle but I miss the days before ysi's and rapidshare existed when we actually discussed music beyond "YSIPKTHX" and "It's good" or "Meh". You know back when you had to be convinced to buy cds and you'd make an effort to actually make an intelligent case for a band or an album you love to try to convince others to do the same. That all seemed to end with the ability to just dl an album and try it for yourself.

But whatever - to each his own.

You guys realize when you complain about the search function that you can just google whatever you are looking for the addition of site:obner.org to your request, right?

It was pretty easy to find these:

Totally. I mean obvs some folks have tastes that differ from mine, but that's cool.

If someone here or hpn or wherever else takes the time (however little is required these days, to be fair) to recommend/post something...yeah, I'm entirely more inclined to taking a chance on it than, say, bolachas/nodata and the like (not that they're bad either).

Is that the album or EP? I think the EP was already posted.

This is the album, and I had posted the EP a few weeks back.

Nice. Thanks, Rads.
