Yeah that Ha Ha Tonka album had some good moments and overall I like their sound or a least their potential, but it just veers in a direction that I can't fucking stand way too often. I guess I want them more country and less KoL-esque. Think they probably have a good record in them though and I'm sure they'll get some decent exposure after the Bourdain episode and everything

Re: Foo Fighters - I tried this album out and while I still think they're probably the "alternative" band with the best singles over the last 15 years, I can never seem to enjoy a whole album's worth of material.

I liked the previous one. Liked, not loved. I'm waiting for them to decide what kind of music they REALLY want to play, because the raw ability seems to be there (in an unfocused sort of way).
