That Hail Mary toss was some video game shit. Cam has moved into that rarified air of "Love Him or Hate Him, But You Better Respect Him" and appears to be playing a different game than everyone else out there.

Congrats to OU, you were the better team when it counted.
Nebraska's D kept it close, but the offense betrayed them once again.
I guess Freshman QB's aren't taught to throw the ball away and prefer to take a bunch of bad sacks.
It didn't help matters that Nebraska couldn't recover any of the muffed punts and kept giving the ball away on fumbles.

Pro,

LSU fan base is starting to circulate a rumor that if Les leaves for Michigan, Pelini will return to Baton Rouge.

I don't buy it for a second but...

I could see it if the money was really outrageous, but he's getting a pretty good paycheck here and will receive another bonus this season. I think he wants to coach in the Big Ten, and might have dreams of coaching at Ohio State in the near future.

The Huskers offensive coordinator is a candidate for the Vandy job, which makes alot of us happy. We'd like to see him get the axe after struggling in games against A&M and Oklahoma late in the season, and see Pelini bring in someone who matches his personality on the offensive side of the ball.

BTW, Nebraska and Washington will meet in a rematch at the Holiday Bowl according to rumors. The Big 12 did all it could to prevent the Huskers from facing a future Big Ten foe in the Insight Bowl. I can't wait to play in a Big Ten, since half of their bowl teams get to play in New Year's Day games that pay out a considerable amount of cash.

Pellini could be the greatest coach in America and he would still look like a doofus. Dude needs to clean up his look (and his media savvy) a little bit for the Big 10.

Rumor confirmed.

I'm hopeful UW can avenge that embarrassing loss in September but the odds are against them. I'm just grateful they were able to make a bowl game for the first time in 8 years.

Dude. Seriously. I have to believe the only reason that guy still has a job is the buyout. Even still, you'd think the UM folks could pass the hat for 4 mill.

Was just checking the bowl line up for this year and started to drool. Not salivate mind you, but drool as my eyes glassed over. Couple good matchups/exhibitions but for the most part BLECH.

I barely even care about the Georgia game.

Not that all you Bulldog Gator-haters give a shit, but I feel the same way about Florida. They shouldn't have made it anywhere but the Tidy Bowl.

Who we got? If it wasn't one of my 2-3 reasons for keeping on living, I would boycott GA Feetball until they fire Blobo.

.

What I heard was after January 1, the buyout price reduces, and that's when the ax will fall.

Gar, we got ol' George O'Leary and the Conference USA Champs; the Central Florida Knights. Liberty Bowl, Memphis, 3:30 EST, New Year's Eve.

Guess I should be happy we at least got to the 31st.

I do take some pleasure in Tech going to Shreveport after all their shit talk last year when we went. Karma, nerds.

Let's do it: MEMPHRICA NEW YEARS EVE. TEH ENG OF TIMESG.

We could go whoop it up at some juke joint and then climb the walls at Graceland.

Former UGA QB Zach Mettenberger committed to LSU today.

'Ol Touchy McMongerberger??

I've been hearing these reports for what seems like forever.

FWIW, he's been absolutely killing it this year. He's a big tall guy with a canon arm. The only knock on him was his mobility from what I remember. Can't say for sure since I never got to see him thow a pass outside of the G-day game.

 Yeah man, more reason the bowls are just bullshit exhibitions. The fact the Terps were 8-4 and Miami and UNC both got better bowls sporting 7-5 records.

Look on the bright side, you could be Boise State. Being a chip shot field goal away from a BCS bowl to playing on December 22nd in the Maaco Las Vegas Bowl. Yikes.

Given the hose job that Boise St. is getting I'm not going to complain about the Spartans not going to a BCS bowl w/ an 11-1 record. In truth, an MSU-Alabama game on New Years Day feels pretty old timey and awesome. And apparently MSU will get $300,000 more from the Capital One Bowl than it would've from whatever BCS game we might've snuck into.

Lots of storylines in this matchup; We finally get a fucking shot at that lowlife sonofabitch Saban, 11 years after he snuck out the back door to LSU on the eve of the Citrus Bowl. Aside: I woke up in a mid-Michigan ICU on NYDay 2000 with a tube coming out of my head and the first thing I see is MSU kicking the winning field goal against Florida to end the game. Afterward the team raised Bobby Williams up on their shoulders; his high point before going down as one of MSU's worst coaches ever. Now he's one of Saban's assistants (again) at Alabama. Fuck that guy too.
Also, Mark Ingram is a Flint, MI native and his daddy went to MSU. I like the guy, he seems like an upstanding individual but he's enemy at this point as well.

MSU's already ordered 5,000 tickets beyond its allotment and they'll be gone quick because of all the southerners who migrated north a couple generations ago for GM jobs.

GAR, tell your populace to brang it.

Chris Peterson also makes sense to me at Florida.
