GAR, quit fooling yourself. They BOTH need to go. They are staff infections.

Totally. I think Richt should have summarily dismissed them both at the post game press conference, brushed his shoulders of and said "It's BOCA Time!"

That said, given my hatred for Bobo's play calling far surpasses my hatred of our shitty defense. The Soft Zone has probably worked once, somewhere. That fucking shotgun draw has lost 100,000 yards for the Dogs since 2006.

Man, I couldn't be further from you on this front. I at least have seen signs of effectiveness from Bobo at different points over the last 3 seasons. I think an O-coordinator can be brought down by players. Our O-line has been the biggest disappointment this year. It's been a travesty and the fact that we can't run the ball, AT ALL, doesn't help our mediocre QB. What is he supposed to do? I've watched him try to establish the run. Is he supposed to keep at it after the 4th 3 and out. Not being able to run = death. Is his play calling predictable and conservative? Absolutely. Should he be evaluated and possibly let go at the end of the year? Yes.

But nothing compares, IMO, to the numbers and performances we are seeing on D. We are ranking near the bottom of the country in rankings where it matters in total D, scoring D, and turnover ratio (around #116 or something). I've always thought that good D-coordinators should coach up guys and make good players great. We've got 5 star studs not able to defend basic offense packages and looking completely confused after being in a system for 3 and 4 years.

I can find excuses for Bobo (however hard) but for me, Willie simply does not have what it takes. I'm not even saying fire him really. Maybe he should be upstairs in the booth providing valuable info but as a field general he fails miserably.

I understand this, but for the past 4 years I have been able to see that draw play coming from 1000 miles away. It is the bane of my existence. He doesn't tailor the offense to his player's strengths is my biggest problem. The fact that Stafford didn't have a good 8-9 yard slant play, or the fact that we insist on running screens with a QB with a weak arm, and never let the pressure come and THEN dump the ball is just poor coaching along with poor execution. As Stu would say: HIGH SCHOOL COACH!

As to the run -- GA has abandoned the run consistently when they get in trouble, and it always drives me nuts.

So much for Sam Bradford. He just got reinjured early in the 1st quarter of the Red River Rivalry.
Both he and Colt McCoy have taken some serious shots,

Nebraska's offense is enemic right now and they are at risk of getting blown out at home. Texas Tech just took a 14-0 lead after they returned a fumbled lateral for a touchdown.
It looks like another incidences of a good Big 12 North team still being no match for a Big 12 South team.
Hopefully they can make the comeback.

Edit:
Also nice wins by Texas and Iowa today.

Tough loss for OU. I feel awful for Bradford. I'm sure he regrets coming back and leaving all that $ on the table.
Our defense did look good, although it could be because Texas is a 2 man team.
Obviously this year is done, but I think Landry Jones and the offense will be much better next year. Might want to recruit a tight end, though.

The refs aren't even hiding the fact that they're trying to give it to UF.

Try as I might, I think my hate of UF outranks m y hate of Bobby Petrino.

PLEASE pull this out.

Tech scores late to make it 31-10. This one is over. The Huskers might need to make some offensive changes soon and be on the look out for a new Offensive Coordinator.
Freshman QB Cody Green who could be Tommie Frazier-esque came in to lead the Huskers to their lone touchdown, but was trailing too far behind to actively use his feet.
The run game was absolutely abhorrent today. They should have never had difficulty running against Tech.
Fourth loss in a row against the Red Raiders.

Easily. I hate Florida more than just about everything.

Spoke too soon. Special Teams FAIL.

Now the door is open for the Legend of Tebow to grow. God I want that stadium to be napalmed. NOW.

I seriously want Tebow disemboweled.

I want his intestines and other vital organs slowly removed while he remains alive and watches it happen.

Also, his family should be in attendance to witness this, as well as Urban Crier.

The luck o' the Irish with the fortuitous replay booth. They fucked Washington 2 weeks ago, but this one looks legit.

Nebraska missed FG's, didn't attempt to cover a backward pass that was returned for a touchdown and couldn't move the ball in the first half against a Defensive that ranks incredibly low.

As bad as is sucks for Arkansas to miss a game winning FG, they played the Number One team tough.
I'd much rather have a moral victory in a tough loss, than the offensive uncertainty after a bad loss.

Would I be libel for anything if I made bumper stickers that said:

F**K GEORGIA TECH

Is "Georgia Tech" public domain? As long as I don't use the GT logo?

Also:
ATTN: Willie Martinez. Did you see the spy that USC just did on Bama? We would have had a chance against Tennessee with that simple play. Way to Fail.

Terps have done this in basketball for a while. I think it's more frowned upon now.

With an exception for the Texas/OU game, something really weird is going on today with Big 12 Football.

Besides Texas Tech showing they could at least play defense against an inept offense, Colorado is leading Kansas 24-10 at the half and lowly Kansas State is annihilating Texas A&M.
This same Wildcat team got beat by Louisiana-Lafayette earlier this season.
