chipotle = mcdonalds = yuck. i'm going against all you chipotle loving freaks and bringing back the burger. made at home, with 100% beef and other fresh things, plus some love and homemade mayo.

McD's sold all their stake in the co. in 2006.

Though, I agree--a made at home burger beats a Chipotle burrito most of the time.

I offended the GOBGNERG HIGVEG with my suggestion they enjoy(ed) Chipotle not as "good food", though it might well have been, but as something they could hold over the "slow-witted bumble-fucks", as Chipotle, in '02, '03, '04, when the "LURGVEG" emerged, was still an ascendant establishment, not stultified by over-expansion &, even worse, consumption by those SWBF.

Basically, they like(d) Chipotle for the same reason they liked Arcade Fire -- Funeral: liking it, they could be ON THE CUTTING-EDGE. (& as the football commentators know -- YOU MUST PROTECT THE EDGE.)

lately the burgers have been a little lackluster. tonight's was no exception. it was good, but just good. it tasted nice and fresh due to the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions, and the cheese wasn't too overpowering. the toasted kaiser roll was perfectly toasted and stayed crispy until the last bite, while the ranch dressing gave it a tiny bit of tang. like i said, it was good. but in the words of Sinead O'Connor to my dear sweet Miss Daisy, "nothing compares to youuuuu"

Gotta say this one looks pretty good to me. I like the cucumbers on there...although I could do without the ranch.

I wonder how much of the problem is with the specific burgers or you guys just hitting burger overdose stage and getting desensitized to tasty, tasty burgers.

I was hoping the ranch was tzatziki sauce - which would probably have improved it by a factor of at least 156.

So, I told the salesman who introduced me to this website all about this thread and that you guys were making each burger to the T and reviewing the burgers, and he passed that information along to some big shot over at Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board and apparently the guy couldn't stop talking about it, and kept asking questions..."They even did the pretzel roll?!"

Toots, here's your chance. Self help book about a dude who gets divorced, gets saddled with all of his ex-wife's debt, meets a hip tattooed chick with a kid of her own, and learns about the simple joys in life through a cheese-promotion burger website...and Limburger...and pretzel rolls.

Like Marley and Me, but with more condiment-based sexual double entendres.

(I'll make the pitch for you, and even write the book if you just want to be the guy who does the promotions)

that would have made the burger much more memorable. i do get a little tired of doing all these burgers, but it's fun and for the most part, they taste good. they just seem a little monotonous sometimes with all of them having bread, tomatoes, onion, bacon, and burger. that's what made the Miss Daisy stand out. the apple butter and brie was such an unexpected taste on a burger.

No, but I'll send it to our salesman, and he'll probably pass it along.

"Man's Best Friend"

Start with an 18 month old freezer burnt 80% chuck topped with gorgonzola and a reduced crabapple with port. Next, produce an induction of carmalized onions, bitters and fresh cracked pepper. To it, add an organic eight month old sun-dried prairie dog turd folded into La Paz chipotle mayo. Combine all these delicacies on a focaccia bun never touched by a Jew.

I voted for Nader!
