A couple of NOLA cops or Nat Gards strategically placed outside such easy looter pickings as yr neighborhood Wal Mart authorized to shoot any motherfucker walking out of said Wal Mart carrying anything but food or water. The bodies won't have to stack up very high in front of the exit doors before the message is perfectly clear and word gets out.

i'm guessing a lot of these looters have no drinking water and nothing to eat, some with babies, and are breaking into stores for these supplies because they have no other choice.

some looters are just being jerks, but from the cnn footage i saw, most people were leaving with food, beverage & diapers.

i know i'd be looting if i was starving, thirsty, stuck with no means out & a closed grocery store nearby. if the store was properly, i'd pay for my stuff (assuming i didn't lose my wallet). but it's not & survival kicks in.
