i don't even have any plans for a party just yet (although it's expected) but i can't even begin to explain how excited i will be when thisarrives in the mail next week.

I will be dressing up at least 3 times. Halloween is the biggest holiday in Athens. I have loose plans for 4 costumes, but haven't started assembling them yet. We will be allowed to dress up TWICE at my work- on Saturday and then again on Monday (the 31st). For work on the 29th, I plan on recycling last year's costume in honor of the GA/FL game; one of those UGA cheerleader costumes parents buy their little girls. Last summer some family left it at the restaurant and never came back, so I made a few alterations to it to make it fit (namely, the top wasn't arm or boob-friendly). Haha- it's a size 6X. I wore that when I was 7.

i think i'm just going to pour fake blood all over myself and go with that.

Yep, hence the competition. Honestly, I doubt I will follow through on it, but I'd be plenty happy to see tons of Kings out and about in the days of Halloween. Kinda like last year and Johnny Damon get-ups...

I'm going to go to KFC and see if I can find a mask, and be Buckethead, if I can.

something about a dude with a combover, a moustache, and a black eye just really jibes to me. As it stands, though, I'll probably just do the same thing as Shiv. only with a moustache.

I'm going as Klaus Daimler (Willem Dafoe) of the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. I'll essentially just look like some random Team Zissou member, but Klaus's outfit is my inspiration. I'm having some serious trouble finding cheap shorts or light blue track pants. I'm heading off to Target and Walmart today after giving up on Thrift stores.

i want to be a flapper. im going to look for real flapper dresses at vintage stores today.

my friends and i were thinking about going as evacuation center rapists but we decided against it.

i'll be at the my morning jacket show on halloween. i'm sure they'll be a ton of crazy costumes, and it'll be interesting to see if the band dresses up.
i don't think i'll be dressing up though...i always get way too hot at this venue anyways....
