I'm being somewhat conciliatory in this thread, I don't honestly understand where the flak is coming from.

Lets also not forget that Paul remembered to tag out Rowand and PK, when they struck out on balls close to the dirt, the inning prior.

Also, my best friend got flicked off by Aaron Rowand at the game yesterday and his dad called Barack Obama a homo for throwing the ball all wimpy for the opening pitch.

i'm not going to read all of this but it was a bad call which is often part of the game but what i'd like to bitch about is how badly these games have just sucked. outside of the pitching they've been boring and lackluster. the two top teams? i'm waiting for them to start playing like it.

Wow, I think the chief problem with last night's game was exactly the blown call (yes, Paul takes a sliver of the blame pie here, but come on). The reason I've been pissed off is because both games were so well played and tense. Buehrle was a treat to watch, etc.

You're kidding, right? We've seen some of the best pitching, in an LCS, in about a decade.

I still don't think the ball hit the ground, but it was definitely close enough that it wasn't a horrible call. And if they didn't have a third string catcher in the game, there is no doubt he would have tagged him. Josh Paul ran off the field like he was stealing something. By the time the ump even made his controversial hand motion, Paul was halfway out of the stadium.

The ump prolly should have called fan interference on the Bartman ball, but didn't. Cubs got screwed. But I don't remember them bitching as much, collectively, as Angels fans.
