Hey Tanny, any updates?

I've bitten the bullet and made a profile myself. Not on eHarmony, though.

Well, I made myself younger which resulted in better matches. There was one with whom I finally started having open communication with -- that's where you can send PMs to each other. Here's what that communication consisted of:

Him: hi how are you doing
Me: I'm doing great -- how are you?
Him: fine just reseaching some things on line
Me: Uhm...ok. Not much of a conversationalist, eh?
Him: sorry just was checking other thing online when I wrote that message, tell me about you

Mind you, that was over several days. He also hadn't made his photo available until the PMs began. He looked like a little Ewok. While Ewoks can be quite cute, he wasn't. He was terminated.

I should start posting some of the photos. It's not like I'm some beauty, but sheeeeesh...some of these guys look like they've been shut-ins or just recently crawled from under a rock.

I had said that May would be my last month, but I've decided to end services at the end of June. There are a few prospects who have potential...we shall see.

I think "we'll see" has become the motto for all things in my life.

Don't worry, I'll share any and all funny stories to come my way.

I'm sure you'll have better luck than me. Boys like sweet young curvy things. ;)

Ahh, but you forget the type of boys I attract. Or, as my friend likes to call them, "skeezy old men". heh

There'll be ample opportunity to grab pints of ice cream and share horror stories together, m'dear.

Three of my girlfriends and I did this once, kinda as a dare. We all posted on different sights to see which would get the best responses, the funniest, and the most.

As far as the best, there were none. The funniest and most numerious response was Craig's list. Being Jewish, one of the girls posted on JewDate (or something close to that?) and she got a lot of responses.

I never met anyone in person although a couple of the girls did. Nothing.

I had been single for a long time before POD and was thinking that maybe I had already met Mr. Right and was too busy to notice or that I was doomed to waste my time on idiots. A very wise friend of mine pointed out that I was the common denominator in all my failed relationships. After this discussion with her and the soul-searching the followed, I was really picky but stopped caring that I was single and rather lonely.

I realized that I was quite happy with my life and single and all, I still had many great friends, as you do, who would always be there for me. I was pretty thankful and happy.

Soon after, I met POD and as he says frequently, "God may not give you what you want, but he sure gives you what you need". I found what I'd always been looking for, after I gave up the search party.
