Don't Los Amigos Invisibles make it through LA fairly often? I'm pretty sure they've played here at least 3-4 times over the last couple of years although its probably been frequently at venues that you might not check (eg Conga Room, California Plaza Summer concert series, etc.)
I also probably wouldn't really call them electronic although they obviously have electronic elements to their music. Maybe my labeling of them is just my way of liking them but still thinking that I don't like electronic music.
i've only heard of them coming through la twice in the past 5 years. well i labeled electronic in the lazy way.
and if it was los amigos vs. mates of states (which is my conflict during that time set), i'm definitely set on los amigos. i'm sure mates of states will be playing a billion shows in la coming up within the next year.
