Yeah, great value for the Falcs there. Williams definitely has 1st round talent.

Manning had planned on playing for Nebraska, but he didn't make the grades. I'm glad he got picked, I heard he was awesome at the D-II level.

The Giants do better in the 2nd round than in the 1st by taking Sinorice Moss of Miami.

This seems like a surprise move by the Bears. I never heard of this guy.

That's not to say that Div II players can't be of high quality though.

LenDale White finally gets picked by the Titans. He and Vince Young might end up tearing it up together.

Klopfenstein of Colorado went #46, so Leonard Pope is the next TE to go.

Damn, I was wrong.
Dem Cowboys took Anthony Fasano from ND instead of Leonard Pope at the TE position.

There are 11 picks left in the 2nd round and that will conclude the draft for today. I'm going to take a break at that time and get some air and another beer. I'll be back to post a crap ton more tonight.

I was wrong again, they are having the 3rd round on ESPN2 until 9pm. I will still take a lengthy break.

Goodcall, Marco, you've got freaking ESP compared to the Draft analyst.

I can't believe Maryland has a 2nd player picked, the same number as the USC Trojans and Texas Longhorns. I know it is still not as bad as the 6-5 Wolfpack having three and 8-5 FSU having four on one side of the ball.

We were 7-5, thank you very much.

what can you SEC fans tell me about Jason Allen from Tennessee? i had never heard of him before miami picked him today...but after doing a little looking online, it seems some are saying he is the best DB in the draft? i see that he was injured after a few games this year, but i have to trust nick at this point....

One of the analyst on ESPN today said NCST was 6-5, I was just going by what they said.
The Georgia fans should be happy that Tim Jennings was drafted at 62 and Leonard Pope was drafted at 72 by the Cardinals. I think Arizona is having one of the best drafts so far.

First time UGA hasn't had a first rounder since 2000.

Just in looking that up I noticed that Georgia only had three players in that draft, all of them in the seventh round and only one (Patrick Pass who has won three rings with the Patriots) that has done a damn thing.

He's a stud, e-stone. I believe he played CB in college, but is projected more as a safety in the NFL. I think you'll be pleased with the pick.

Do we have any Bills fans on here?

I think they have to be having the worst draft so far, two of their three picks have been major reaches in the first round.
The Chiefs draft hasn't been stellar either, but they need any sort of defensive help they can get.

Brodie Croyle got picked by the Chiefs at 85. I don't know if he has the health to sustain an NFL career, but he is one tough SOB.

USC and Miami have had a bunch of players drafted in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, they are probably leading it now.

Devin Hester is who the Bears selected with their second pick. Never heard of the guy before, but that video is sick.

Devin Hester is a stud, I'm surprised you never saw him play with Miami thsi year. I think the Bears are doing well so far this draft. Danieal Manning might be a surprise pick, but he seemed to be fairly well regarded for a small college player. Dvoracek has some past legal problems while at OU, which might hinder his pro potential, but he was a decent player for a third round pick.
