This album is $8 at Target this week plus it comes with the bonus CD. So far I like it better than Gimme Fiction, but not as much as Kill The Moonlight. I'd say it's probably tied with Girls Can Tell for my second favorite Spoon album after listening to it a couple times. I haven't had a chance to listen to the bonus disc yet.

The Best Buy version has a "well-concealed" bonus CD as well. I'm thinking it's the same one, unless they pulled some Smashing Pumpkins shit.

Also, Target's version of the new Interpol comes with an iTunes Card for 3 free song credits, which is a decent deal considering the album is $9.98. Of course, you actually have to like Interpol first.

Not sure why I was up this late but I saw them do "The Underdog" on Letterman last night with a horn section. Pretty cool.

8.5 today on p-fork...I say 9.4

I take .6 points off for the flamenco solo.

 That really ruins "Little Japanese Cigarette Case." It's so un-Spoon to have a gratuitous solo.

you people are crazy...that's one of the few interesting songs on the album.

Without that song, I might drop it another point or two. It is my fave on the album.
